Malachy Tallack has been a journalist, English teacher, and petrol-pump attendant. His debut album The Desert was described by 'The Shetland Times'
as "a clutch of potent anthems and graceful melodies".

His new album Edges & Spaces was recorded in the summer of 2005 with some of Shetland's best musical talent, including Jenna Reid, Brian Nicolson and Lise Sinclair. On its release, BBC Scotland presenter Tom Morton wrote:

"Make no mistake, this is a superb piece of work."

Malachy is 25 and lives in Fair Isle.
